Nissan released its all-new Nissan Note e-Power in Japan in November 2020 and is here now in Singapore. The Nissan Note is one of the top few affordable new cars in Singapore.
NEW e-POWER DRIVETRAIN
The e-Power system is also known as the series hybrid powertrain. Unlike the full Electric Vehicle and the Conventional Hybrid, the 1.2-litre gasoline engine is used to charge the lithium-ion battery and is used as a power source. With that said, the small battery allows the car to go a couple of klicks.
NISSAN NOTE e-POWER: NEW STYLE CONCEPT
The new note comes with the second-generation e-Power that has been extensively revamped with more horsepower serving a better driving experience and enhanced performance. Nissan manages to increase the motor torque by 10% and raise the overall output by 6%.
The exterior of the new note has also been redesigned featuring the blacked-out roof and pillars which expresses a futuristic look beyond a compact car, however keeping its minimalistic look. Measuring the Nissan Note at 4045mm long, 1695mm wide and 1505mm tall. As compared to the previous Note, it is 55mm shorter in terms of overall length, 20mm shorter in height, and has 30mm lower ground clearance.
At the back of the car, we can see the rear lights running across the width of the car right above the modern wide-spaced “Nissan” word.
The Nissan Note will come in 13 body variations along with 2 different designs of 16-inch aluminum wheels.
THE CABIN DETAILS
The modern and trendy interior of the Nissan Note includes a 9-inch infotainment system, a 7-inch digital dashboard display, electric gear shift lever with an electric parking brake and auto brake hold. In addition to that is the Zero Gravity seats, which supposedly provide better comfort on longer journeys. Bridged across is the centre console which allows easier access to the electric gear shift lever.
The new Note e-POWER is available in Lite and Premium versions, with prices currently starting from $99,800 with COE.
